Meet Stacey and Matt!
Stacey and Matt have known and loved each other for a long time. But nothing could have prepared them for what they experienced on a random summer day when they decided to do something a little different. This is the story of that day.
It started out like any other beautiful summer day. Stacey and Matt went to a local field to be alone with one another and to take in some love in the warmth of the golden sun.
Everyone from their town knows, however, that there is an abandoned hospital nearby where nobody goes. A mean ghost, it is believed, occupies that hospital, and anyone who seeks him, does so at their own peril.
Hoping for a little adventure, Stacey and Matt decided to go see if the fear was warranted. So they ran through the grass with a skip and a dash to seek the wise man for guidance.
Without realizing how close they really were, they found the wise man quickly.
The wise man’s advice was simple and direct. “Go to the pit of rust and ash,” he said. “There you will multiply your strength and dispel with some of your unnecessary fears.”
So to the pit of rust and ash they went. They were scared, but found comfort in each other’s arms.
So they took a deep breath to multiply their powers.
And off to the hospital they went. While they had rid themselves of their greater fears, and they were happy to be with each other, there was still a feeling of uneasiness within them.
So they entered the hospital and they searched.
Abandoned yes, but ghost, no. So they kept looking.
Little did they know, the ghost had already found them.
It was scary!
So they dipped into a nearby room to hold each other and regroup!
It was then that they realized that they were being silly. Even though the ghost had found them first, he was clearly harmless. Indeed, all he did was try to engage them.
So Stacey and Matt decided to invite the ghost to join them. Scary though he seemed, loneliness was his curse, and it was the touch of Stacey and Matt that showed how good his heart really was. Although the fear of the unknown had kept so many away from the friendly ghost for so long, the bond that Stacey and Matt hold broke through that barrier.
Unsurprisingly, the warmth of Stacey and Matt brought them another friend for life.
And they lived happily ever after!
